Marsa Al Arab opening mid-March. Looks like it could be contender for best in Dubai - access to the wider Jumeirah complex, what look like high quality large rooms starting at c.65-70 sqm all with terraces. Whether face Burj al Arab or Burj Khalifa the views will be good.

Also there's Marsa Residences available to book which seem to be larger and cheaper, but I'm guessing (and only guessing) that they're perhaps slightly less amenitised and its a short walk across to the main hotel amenities (beach, bigger pool, restaurants)? A bit more of a local resident vibe (has it's own pool complex) rather than hotel? Any insights? Seems like a better idea to save £200-300/night and have a larger space with a kitchenette, especially when travelling with family.....
