Overall, I liked the Conrad Tokyo. Location notwithstanding, I have a few qualms, but nothing is perfect. Here are my impressions and photos:

Pros:
  • Nice Bay View upgrade
  • Room design is pleasant and sophisticated
  • Bed is generally comfortable - plush mattress, plush pillows
  • Shower pressure is good and strong
  • Large and comfortable couch
  • Chocolate bars as welcome gift
  • Staff was friendly
  • Restaurant breakfast was great - fantastic lattes, good eggs Benedict, good hashbrowns, good sausages, not too chaotic but I went early

Neutral:
  • Only 12:30 late checkout was all I could get
  • Lounge is fine - somewhat small afternoon tea selection of desserts, no desserts at evening service but they do have Bailey’s

Cons:
  • Bed covers need to be more plush
