Ermm.....

I've been a frequent guest at both NYC properties (well, now only one), and I've found the GH NY gym very lacking. Make no mistake, I take hotel gym VERY seriously, but in the same class, I can name on top of my head 4 hotels having MUCH better gyms than the GH NY.......In decreasing order of preference...

1. Le Parker Meridien (pool, HUGE gym, in fact, it's membership based too)
2. Millenium Hilton (2 pools, great gym)
3. New York Palace (very nice gym, nice spa)
4. Sheraton Manhattan (pool, nice gym, also can use Sheraton New York across)

It's amazing that the GH NY doesn't at least have steam room/sauna or a spa!

Oh well......I can only hope a premier Hyatt is going to be in NYC soon......I'm actually staying at the Millenuim Hilton for my last 4 visits to NYC.....even with FFN and TRYGNY and NEWGNY going on I haven't been taking advantage of them!!!! PLUS, the GH NY is almost always MORE expensive than the Millenium Hilton.....no idea why....
