I'm not really sure what you mean here - there was no difference on TPs to attain or retain a status on BAEC under the old system (300-600-1500) except for GGL (5000 attain vs 3000 retain).

It is exactly the same with the new system, no difference between attain and retain thresholds (3500, 7500, 20000) except for GGL (65000 including 52000 strictly on BA to attain v 40000 including 32000 strictly on BA to retain).
