I have the opposite issue, whereby I was specifically waiting until 2025 to purchase a Delta One ticket so the spend MQD would count towards 2025 and not 2024. I waited until 1:30 AM on 1/1, my receipt from Delta shows 1/1 as the ticketing date, yet for some reason the pre-authorization from American Express shows 12/31 as the transaction date. It is still a pending charge 3 days later so I'm hopeful that the final charge will post in January, but I'm very worried that I will lose the $700 2025 MQD I was counting on. Has anyone ever successfully challenged a transaction date?
