I recently completed a multi night stay in a riverfront villa and was absolutely blown away. This property is truly exceptional—breathtakingly beautiful with outstanding service throughout.

We loved it so much that leaving to explore Ubud was difficult, and we ended up spending most of our time exploring everything it had to offer—dining at every restaurant, enjoying our villa’s private pool, swimming in the larger pool, and spending time at the kids’ club.

That said, there was one notable issue—minor or potentially significant, depending on how you view it. Housekeeping accidentally left paperwork in our villa that detailed all the guests staying that night, including their rates, personal preferences, and other notes. A few interesting points: over half the rooms were booked with award redemptions, a somewhat well-known tech ceo/billionaire was staying in the three-bedroom villa, and several prominent figures from the business and arts worlds were also guests.

As someone who isn’t a public figure, I wouldn’t mind too much if I were on the other side of this mistake. However, I’m certain many of the high-profile guests would feel differently. The hotel should avoid printing such sensitive information altogether and instead use secure tablet devices to manage it.
