I would agree, but with only 4 days having past since the announcement, and one of those days being New Years, if there is deviation from the norm, how would you know that is attributable to the changes alone, or some other event that occurred this week?
I'm thinking it's premature to say the changes are a success or failure based on so few days data.
I can’t claim to know that much about the leisure travel booking side of things but surely this weekend and next weekend must be pretty key weekends for holiday sales as people go back to work and think about booking their next holiday. Maybe there will be some panic if they both underperform.
