This won't help OP of course but this is why I always suggest to folks earning transferable CC points that they open award accounts with any airline they think they might use in the future as soon as they can. I have never earned (or yet transferred to) Singapore Airlines but I have had a frequent flyer account with them for years (I login in periodically to keep it active). An aged account is less likely to draw the auditors' attention.
My account with Cathay was over two years old, I opened it (and a bunch of other transfer airline frequent flier accounts) at the time my SO and I started accruing points. Sadly, account age didn't seem to help in this case.
