Don't bother with 'business hotels'. It not only is complicated but more importantly girls get turned off by that. Jackpot ratio goes 0.
Consider 'love hotels' where check-in/out can be done discreetly.
Prepay?
I haven't done prepay at hotels yet, except love hotels.
DL miles?
I have seen some hotels give JL miles but not to any other airlines. If you want miles, using Amex-Delta for hotel payment would be one way.
For any kind of reward program, some hotel chains like the Sunroute for example give redeemable points if you open a membership. About 10% money back after all.
Curfew?
As a single guy I admit my bedtime is shamefully early. (11pm)
So I haven't had a chance to find out about that yet. But I heard some places do have such a policy.
