Did the Air China app stop working for anyone?
I booked a CA ticket on a third party website in December, then successfully used the Air China app to assign seats (had to register an account with their mileage program for that).
Now the app no longer sees my booking. When going to "my trips", it says, "to use the trip function, please complete the real-name authentication first". What's going on here?
Just booked my first flight with them, book direct with air china.
I also get the “Authentication” message and no trips in the app. If you select Account at the bottom right of the app home page, then under the user image top left, do you see “Identification” in red?
I believe this is where we submit a photo of yourself, holding your ID document (passport, etc). I did this process 24 hours ago, it submitted after a few attempts, but still waiting for it to be checked……. Not great, I want to use the app for upgrade options and use it when travelling……
