Alaska IT has been having a lot of issues lately but they understand that the offer was to earn EQMs for charging through December 31 so that requires waiting for BofA to report the information necessary to calculate these and then going back and adjusting the total EQMs for 2024 and then running a check for who is entitled to a higher level of status. I'll wager it happens automatically although perhaps takes a month or more since there are going to be some credit card accounts that cycle on Dec 30th so if BofA doesn't report out to Alaska immediately but only when accounts cycle (which is possible but I don't know) then Alaska would have to wait until the end of January for the final tally of spending to compute EQMs from spend and then use that to determine status for 2025. Maybe it happens sooner but if not it's understandable, although not ideal since obviously BofA could do a run in early January (and might) rather than waiting for accounts to bill out.

I'd be interested to know how it plays out for you so if you wouldn't mind posting that would be nice. Meanwhile I'm waiting for HA to (hopefully) report the EQMs I earned through spend on the HA card. As I mentioned they've been explicit that will take 4-6 weeks and given that unlike the EQMs earned with the AS card this is new territory for Alaska's IT people and because HA won't even tell you if they've credited your account with the EQMs you earned through spend if my status isn't upgraded I've got no way to know if the problem lies with HA (didn't credit my account with the EQMs), AS (EQMs didn't carry over from HA to AS) or both.

Obviously everyone who is depending on spend from their HA card to kick them to higher status is in the same boat so if there is a FT reader who, unlike me, had the forethought to charge early enough that their EQMs already posted and AS included them in calculating their status (or didn't) a report would be most welcome.
