Samsung clawback saga update....
Got a response today, via email, to my email claim submitted on 12/25 for this incorrect clawback.
The response is basically the usual "canned" response where they state the obvious... saying that gift card purchases dont apply, that if you return items they will do a clawback... bla bla bla. We all know this from the start... thank you very much !!!
They ask me again if my case has any of these promotion voiding issues.... which is frustrating because I clearly stated in my 12/25 email that nothing has been returned and I followed all the rules in the original purchase... I even explained to them that the original credit was manual because it didnt post automatically, and therefore the original credit of LPs and miles was the result of an audit/investigation which led to the honoring of the purchase..... so its doubly-troubling to see that now they have clawed back something thats already been reviewed by the vendor (Samsung) and also Cartera itself.....
Aside from replying to the email I got today, I also tried calling the phone numbers listed on top of the wiki but one is only a spam/promotion call center that plays back recordings wanting to sell you dubious health-insurance and or medical devices, and the other doesnt appear to be manned by humans and invites you to leave a voicemail...... has anybody having a claim had luck in reaching a human by phone to escalate things or is one doomed to handling all this only by email.....?
