i am just at the age where i am tired from 22 years of this amount of travel of 100+ flights per year and was thinking in the back of my mind that the next qualifying year would be my last year for GGL and was even dreading that. its been a great 8 (9?) solid years as GGL from the first month i relocated to london, and once i made GFL i was going to be happy enough.
so these changes made that choice for me and im quite relieved to be frank as i do not need to make it one for year "just because" so i will enjoy these remaining 15months taking my partner or friends along for the ride and experiences at LHR and the CCR (since i only seem to ever fly first when alone)...if they let me in. when i went through last weekend the computer was refusing despite my boarding pass indicated GGL and well, BEING a GGL.
it was a sign in more ways than one
