[Consolidated] Chance of upgrade clearing on my flight
First trip to Sydney, and I put in for both Premium Economy and Polaris upgrades back in early November using miles with co-pay. What are my chances?

January 15 - LAX/SFO/SYD
UA 2019/829 from Economy K

January 25 - SYD/LAX
UA 843 from Economy G

If my chances for upgrade aren’t good, should I switch to flight 863 on the SFO/SYD outbound? Looks like there are more Polaris seats there.
