Alaska's website says they'll award status based on the combined EQMs for 2025. I don't believe that would be reasonably interpreted as whenever they get around to it, but rather with reasonable dispatch. Unfortunately HA is saying that they won't calculate earned EQMs from credit card spend until 4-6 weeks after a customer's account cycles which means as long as 10 weeks after spend that triggered EQMs. HA goes on to say that if the spend results in qualifying for elite status with HA updating ones HA status could take as much as another month and a half.

What is left unsaid by HA is what happens if the EQMs earned through spend are not sufficient to earn status on HA but are sufficient when added to EQMs earned on the AS card and any flying on either airline. AS has repeatedly promised that you earn status on AS based on the sum off all EQMs (flying on both airlines, EQMs earned on both credit cards). I'm taking Alaska at their word, but given that HA isn't reporting out earned EQMs from spend to account holders, its far from clear whether reporting out to AS EQM from HA credit card spend will happen automatically and if it does when.

There is simply no way to verify how many EQMs HA believes you've earned from spend on the HA credit card let alone if they've been credited towards AS elite status so the only option if ones status hasn't updated is to wait two months and then call Alaska to ask what is going on.
