A SQ bulkhead seat has a much wider space for your feet. The SQ seat blocks the first of two windows and has no door. In my opinion, the BA Suite is better than the average business seat and better than the SQ business seat.
I completely agree. I've only flown SQ on the A350, but the seat pitch is very claustrophobic and (in particular) the awful, tiny footwells are extremely uncomfortable. In order to turn over while sleeping I actually had to stand up first, because there wasn't enough room to wrangle my feet in the miniscule opening to the footwell, and the seat in front of me was so close I couldn't shift my knees around once my feet were out of the footwell. Awful design. I am much more comfortable (and sleep much better) in the BA Club Suite.
Not sure if it's the same seats on the SQ A380.
