So If from Feb 8th 2024 - Feb 8th 2025, I earned 360/1500 TP (hardly enough for gold normally) and due to a status match I have gold through Mar 2026, any TP that I earn in this "shortened" TP collection year from Feb 8th 2025 to April 1st gets credited towards the Feb 8th 2024 - Feb 8th 2025 collection year and EVEN IF I get 2640 additional TP by April 1st, 1500 of that wouldn't roll over to the April 1st 2025 and beyond TP collection year?
TLDR; The shortened collection year is just to shore up your status expiring in 2026 and there is no way to use it to get ahead for the status expiring in 2027... That's some BS BA!
I don't think you've understood the old system either, to be frank - there was never any TP rollover. Just 1500TP in a year to get Gold. Previously years could start in any month - always running from the 9th to the 8th the following year [so I was September 9th 2023-September 8th 2024 in my last year of that system]. They realigned to everyone being April 1st-March 31st, and to give everyone a fair shot at the end of the final "old" year everything from April 1st 2024-MONTH 8th 2024/2025 was recredited - effectively giving a full year of earning for this first newly aligned year end on March 31st 2025. You have the same - but since you only got 360 TPs [what you needed in a status match] you'll only get 360 TPs credited back.
