TLDR; The shortened collection year is just to shore up your status expiring in 2026 and there is no way to use it to get ahead for the status expiring in 2027... That's some BS BA!
Correct. no TPs in your short year will roll over to your 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 year. Short year or not, it has never been possible to earn points now which contribute towards status 2 membership years ahead - it has always been this way.
