I got my status through the US match last year and my status shows valid until 31 March 2026. I thought that if the tier point collection year ended in Feb then I could start earning towards next year (through Feb/Mar 2027) as soon as the new tier point collection year started. You joined the programme at a moment when it is in transition to a new system. From April 25, all membership years will be aligned and will run April to March. There have been transitional arrangements (that will run until end of March this year) to facilitate the transition to the new year. You may want to read up the other thread (which has been running for a year) on these changes to understand how the new system works. If you already have status until March 26, there is very little for you to gain in the current (short) membership year until April (merely a month status until end April 26).
