If Swedavia and SAS would collude and try to marginilize LHG (which seems to be the second largest user of ARN) they could move all *A riff raff to C&D. Right now they are maintaining C as the LoCo gates, and EW flies from there. LX is spread over C/E/F, LH in D/E/F, OS in E. D should have some lounge space available above the departure area, that space was previously used for transit security. If they move all international 'unclean' arriving flight to F the space is available for other uses.
I went back to my notes from the SAS meeting and this is what I wrote:
"On the Ground
* Flagship Lounge in CPH (2027) - 3700 sq meters, 4th floor of new building, 40% more capacity compared to existing lounge, EBD area, other enhancements being considered.
* ARN lounge improvements. New lounge location in F pier. Expected by March 2025. Additional lounge, but will be smaller than existing one supporting Piers D/E"
It's always possible that I misheard or got my wires crossed somehow. But I remember Paul Verhagen clearly mentioning the lounge will be located in F-pier because he made a point out of saying how it would be smaller than the current lounge, but that the intent was to relieve the pressure on the existing lounge and give customers a shorter distance to walk.
So I don't how you accomplish supporting F-pier by locating it someone else other than where the AmEx Pop-up lounge was. But who knows...plans always change when they meet reality.
