Any recommendation for a self-booked hotel for an overnight transfer that is also easy to access the city from?

Long story: I'm arriving at 18:00 and departing 13:50 the next day. Too little time to go for a proper city hotel, but too much to just stay at the airport. I will be aiming to be at IST around 11:00 the next day so ideally I'd want to avoid taxi and possible traffic jams.

I preliminary booked DoubleTree Gayrettepe as Gayrettepe has metro lines to both the airport and Taksim, but I'm wondering whether seasoned TK travellers may recommend some better option?
