United announced a direct flight from Narita to Koror, Palau back in October 2024 with a targeted start at the end of May of 2025. Has anyone seen any updates on that ? I have tried a few out dates to find a direct flight in their system but don’t see anything popping up (just the route with a stop in Guam that has been around for years ).

Does anyone happen to have info on this? Don’t know if it got held up for regulatory reasons or if they don’t think the demand will be there without massively cannibalizing the GUM-ROR route .
