Agreed. I specifically booked us separately as when we booked a couple of days ago, it was J1. I didn't expect the upgrade, but I'm quite pissed about being given it and having it taken away.
The GA was an absolute ... when I asked why I was being told to go back to a Y. Unbelievably condescending.
My last 2 flights were United and Latam. Despite being hauled off the plane for security checks on the latter, both were far better experiences. That whole quote about repetition and insanity - I've diversified some, but wondering why not more.
