You may be right but in over 10 years of redeeming/transferring 8 figures of CC points mostly with non-US airlines including CX and AF/KLM I have had no issues and early on with both programs I never had credited a flight (I probably credited a flight to CX after about 8 years of redeeming points with them), I don't think I have ever credited to AF/KLM to this day). I still believe having an aged account helps (and at least it isn't going to hurt). But I will also admit all points come from bank currencies that are in my name, I only book for myself and less often three relatives that share my last name and are almost always flying on the same itinerary as me, etc. So I probably attract less attention in general than some others.
What about aged accounts that haven't had activity in multiple years? I feel like that would be more a flag 😬
