Am I the only one with PfL that does not have any desire to travel with Star Alliance or One World? I recently flew Turkish to South Africa in J and it was so bad again (last year I flew from CPT back home) that they will not see me again. With terrible seating in J on LX and LH and OS, why would I give them a way over AF KL? BA might be an option but with their fees for J seat, no thank you. If I need to fly on OS out of VIE on short haul, priority pass that came with CC is handy, sure but that is about it? Would I decline cheap J fare on QR to the world? Most likely not but having flown a lot of airlines in J, it is still safe and great to be on AF or KL.
