OT - but had to add to this. Was flying Latam today and had boarded with my SO and was seated. 5 minutes later, GA comes and pulls me up, tells me to take my luggage and follow her (zero explanation). SO was left onboard and she was texting me wondering what's going on. I was taken downstairs where the Policia Nacional wanted to open all my bags - They did a cursory search of my bags, which included asking me with a grin - "any drugs?" and then closing up my bag. Was then taken back through a separate security and sent back upstairs.

No matter what country, they think I'm up to no good. Australia is the most upfront - they point at me and say "you - go there". Usually get searched 3-4 times between arriving the airport and sitting in my seat!
