Specifically, Amex is using the transaction date of charges to determine which year they count towards. They are backdating the "Activity Date" on MQDs for 2024 transactions when they post to your Delta account so that they will count towards 2024 MQD balance. I had a couple Amex charges on the 30th and 31st which posted to my DL account today, and had activity date backdated to Dec 31, 2024. Unfortunately, there's no way to see what your current 2024 MQD total is any more.
