No idea if your schedule allows, but I deal with this scenario frequently. My preference is to Uber it from T3 to a nearby hotel, get a good dinner and crash out. Then Uber it back to T5 for the first departure to the EU destination the next morning.

I find it less stressful as long as you have a bit of schedule flexibility and hotel points (or OPM)
