Currency of VAT cash refund at Munich Airport
Hello
does anyone know if I will be getting euro or USD if I opt for cash for VAT refund at Munich airport?

i would prefer usd. Is getting a refund in Amex Gold or Chase Reserve an altogether stupid idea due to currency?

Also, do i check in first and get a boarding pass then do VAT or do I do VAT first then check in? The items will be in checked luggage.
