I'm taking an AA flight in February and am torn between applying now for the 70K offer before it's gone or waiting until my flight to see if I can get one of those 6 digit codes from a flight attendant.

Does anyone know if 1) flight attendants still distribute Barclay Aviator promotion cards with special 6 digit codes and 2) if so, will having a code boost the current 70K bonus offer or forgive the $99 fee payment for a year? Finally, (and I hope I'm not out of line for asking), 3) would anyone have a 6 digit code from a recent flight that they could give me?
