If you gain OWE in a different programme, but book and fly a BA flight on a BA code, and then there is disruption, can you call the gold line as a OWE or are you stuck on the 'Blue' line? One of the actual benefits/reassurance of BA status has been that you are higher up the list for help/telephone rebooking etc. I'm assuming you lose the telephone access if you are on another programme and if you want it, you need to ensure you book the flight on the other programme's code so you can phone them?
