I was hoping to self-connect in CDG next month, off a fight from BOM, and was banking on travelling with a carry-on (weighing more than 7kg) and a backpack that stows under the seat in front. In J on QR, but I gather the airline doesn't matter, it's an Indian airports thing.

I don't suppose anyone knows if they're enforcing this rule strictly or not yet?
