G-EUYS spent the night at GIB after a technical fault grounded it prior to BA491, due to fumes present in cabin on inbound service. A few hours of testing occurred, eventually culminating in taking the plane out to the runway as they had to ramp the power right up, but it wasn’t even back on the stand before the flight was rescheduled for today at 1400.

I can’t imagine there’s any way BA are going to get round this being liable for compensation but it would nice to see what’s on record about the flight.
