Flight BA2712 Gatwick 12.20 to Las Palmas on 29th December. Foggy day, but flights still coming and going. "Boarding" was announced before the incoming flight had landed. "Flight cancelled" was annouced about 30 minutes after it landed, no explanation given. After we claimed our luggage, a check in staff member looked it up and said it was a "technical" delay and not fog which we had presumed. i've submitted a claim and its been rejected without any reason. Anyway of finding the official reason for cancellation?
(We were booked onto a flight the next day, and BA were actually very good with getting us into a hotel etc)
