I used to have a huge bag where i stored “interesting” singles I’d invariably bring along. I used to take whatever was in the minibar for future use, but eventually it got boring with the Bombay Sapphires and the Kettel Ones, so I would only take things that were truly interesting, like a Hibiki 12 at IC Osaka and some others. Friends that came over learned to never question if I had anything - someone asked once for a Campari Orange thinking there was no chance I’d have that and I magically fished one out from my. magic bag. Funnily enough I still have that bag but some of the crapper drinks (looking at you, Grey Goose) have actually dried up as apparently they weren’t sealed well enough
