I do think it would be appropriate for DL (and other carriers) to offer a waiver here - out of not only respect for those involved in the tragic event - but also to those impacted by the game’s postponement. But, with flight loads what they are, it’s likely not as simple as just moving folks back a day.

Still, this is also a situation where even if a waiver is not posted, hopefully a sympathetic agent/supervisor could use their discretion to help those in need.
