I have been wondering what the marginal cost is to AA of boarding an F meal.

I speak of marginal cost, because clearly AA would incur costs from the catering company simply to cater the plane with soda and coffee and peanuts.

What, then, do you imagine is the charge made by the caterer to AA for an F breakfast, cold lunch, and hot dinner on, say, a midcon flight?

Similarly, I would be interest to know if people happen to have an informed estimate of the marginal cost to AA of Y, J, and F transatlantic meals.
