I took one for the team pre-Covid and dropped GGL to Silver to Bronze to Blue - Blue - Bronze - Blue (or something). Went over to Dickie Beard and enjoyed that for a while and here I am back with BA since October as a Goldie again. So the post-GGL world is perfectly tenable and truly the only thing from the CCR/GGL days I miss are some of the CCR staff and the fact I had a stash of jokers just-in-case.
BAEC / BAC was, and even after this, will still be better overall the Virgin's flying club but both are now barely worth extra effort or diverted spend.
