Just finished up a 3 night stay here. Was not upgraded to a suite as a Titanium despite asking and 3 different suites showing as available on the website for the nights I was staying. Rooms are indeed very small and I was "upgraded" to a room with the shared courtyard.
The hotel seemed very empty during my stay. Only one or two other people seen at breakfast everyday. They seemed to be offering up free breakfast and evening hor d'oeuvres/cocktails to everyone - not sure if that was to encourage people to dine in and make use of the staff.
Both breakfast and evening food are all made to order. We were told we could order up to 2 items on the breakfast a la cart menu and 3 items on the evening menu. I thought the breakfast food was pretty good and the juice was refreshing. The evening food was very mediocre and we didn't bother ordering anything after day 1. Live jazz is available on Thu/Fri/Sat starting at 8:30. We checked it out Friday night and it was decently attended (~10 people).
I'm not sure how this hotel survives as it's not going to attract business travelers and it was very dead during the holiday time
