I would think (but do not nail me on it), that we will see the changes only for those 40 or 70 night milestone awards earned in 2025. This would make sense IT-Wise, as it is usually much easier to implement something for a new year or the future ("ex nunc") than backwards and changing settings ("ex tunc"). But as I said, that is just a guess related to the IHG IT .....
