Not SQ but currently sitting in MEL flying NZ and got the sturdy card boarding pass. Mind you, I checked in at the counter due to foreign passport and the agent came back with these.

I believe if you are to use the kiosk for self check-in then you will also get the flimsy thermal boarding pass. Just sharing this as it shows airlines still have the sturdier card boarding passes.

For whatever it's worth, I also saw at the airport someone flying UL (Sri Lankan) and it was coloured card boarding pass.
