Unhappy Broken Business Class seat on 11 hour flight compensation query

Hi, my wife and I were travelling from Auckland to Istanbul and return on Business Class tickets that cost approx €5,100 each. From NZ to Europe it is essentially 2 x 11 (ish) hour legs. We were flying Turkish Airlines for the first time based on the "competitive" 2024 pricing they offered. I have flown NZ to Europe many many times over the last 30 years hence the Lifetime Gold status with OneWorld and Gold with Star Alliance. The issue we had was that seat 7B on our very old 777 was a lie flat BC seat but the seat controls were completely broken. The seat had to be in a fully upright position or a cabin crew member could "get inside it" and manually move it to a fully flat position. It was not possible for me to make any adjustment at all. BC was full as was EC and the staff were busy and not that interested in going above & beyond at all. I flagged the incident at the time and I have been hassling TK non-stop through there Customer Service portal for them to "do the right thing" for a premium customer an make some sensible offer of compensation for the disrupted flight. And our flight was disrupted as the seat was allocated to my wife (less experienced traveler) who fretted over the seat that was not working until I swapped into that seat and "took one for the team". So my question is does anybody have experience with TK in matters like this? What would be reasonable compensation? Refund 25% of the ticket price? (for the one useless leg) get a FOC BC flight for the same sector with say a 24 month validity? any other suggestions?
