the concern is warranted but I take this very frequently intra EU and always take the earliest LH fight to FRA which ranges from 2-3 hrs layover. While risk always exists, I’ve never had an issue.

Type of connection is a crapshoot. With LH, always an A gate (same as Z but different level-Z is United departures) or stand with bus. Both methods not an issue.

Even connected from Turkish at B gates with 45 mins and made it. (It helped that I’m gs, they held the plane, but I sprinted too).

To each his own, but this is a no-brainer if it were me with your situation. 181 is one of my favorite flights for getting back to DEN.
