Waiting and disparate treatment

This lounge is part of the priority pass network but as a priority pass holder I was discriminated against for not having a chase sapphire card and made to wait 1.5 hours.

QUOTE=chriseng;36679006]We visited the new Chase lounge in PHX Terminal 4 today. As of right now I would not recommend it. A few highlights:

- They estimated a 15-20 minute wait to get in; it ended up being about 55 minutes (party of 2)
- There is only one check-in station, yet three people standing behind the check-in desk
- The lounge is tiny -- some bar seating, a handful of 2-tops, and an "indoor patio" that basically puts you right back in the concourse, kind of an odd feature
- There is no food made to order, only a limited buffet selection; today that was a soup, some pretty flavorless noodles, a cheese sandwich, a rice krispie treat, a cookie, and a couple other items I forgot
- QR code at the table is only for ordering beer and wine; our order of two glasses of wine took 15+ minutes to arrive, and one of the glasses was the wrong wine
- The water dispenser (the one with a button that dispenses still or sparking) was not working at all

Had I known it was going to be nearly an hour wait, we'd have gone to Centurion instead. I did put us on the Centurion waitlist about 50 minutes into the Chase wait, and we were cleared in under 10 minutes, but by that point we'd already gone into the Chase lounge, and only had half an hour until our flight boarded.

I realize it's a new lounge and there are kinks to be worked out, but it was very underwhelming. Aesthetically, the lounge was nice, but otherwise it was just miles below the quality or service level of the BOS Chase lounge which we're at most often.[/QUOTE]
