Of course, that's only for the first year and assumes that one already has Exec Plat status. Going forward, Plat Pro earns only 9x LP/$. so, the base fare spend starting point is $13,889. Also, AFAIK, the AA card earns 1LP/$ spent, is just adds one to the status multiplier, not two. However, there are also LP bonuses at 60K and 90K LP earned for the more expensive World Elite Mastercard, so that can help at, effectively, a 33x ratio.
