hoping it turns up in next couple of days. But already thinking what if it doesn’t. I’m just now realizing how much was in that bag. It had a snowboard, bindings, boots, 2 helmets, 3 goggles, 2 ski jackets, pants, gloves, neck warmers, ski shirts, ski socks, 2 backcountry ski backpacks, and tons of layers. The cost to replace all of the contents in that bag has to be close to $6,000 or $7,000. What is deltas policy for reimbursement, especially when it was west jets fault
The last carrier is responsible and then they go back and subrogate any losses using some agreed-upon formula.

Having said that, the odds are 99% you’ll get it back tomorrow. Assuming you filled a claim with Delta at the arrival airport.

Wondering if this accidentally showed up in the customs area at LAX.
