Well 7 years as Gold and that will be it. I spend around $15,000 per year on BA/One World (and I am my own boss, no corporate travel plans here so free to book anyone). Luckily DL just status matched me 2 months ago to their Platinum, which I will be able to maintain. This announcement made my decision to switch very easy now. So just booked r/t J on Virgin from US to LHR as a result of this announcement. I'm glad they announced it before I booked BA!. Take care all.
