Menu - please see post#738 above for the full menu I posted previously. Excellent service aboard this 4PM departure from LHR despite a full load in J and one extra demanding family in the quad asking for too many things. I had an excellent FA from Thailand who was absolutely superb and spot on with timing; refills and engaging with conversations - reminds me of the good old QR days pre pandemic.

Arabic Coffee and Dates post take-off, crew offered multiple rounds.



Not sure why the change to non-heated nuts? Can’t really be a cost saving thing as you just need to pop in the ovens for 5-10 mins.



Amuse-bouche - prawns with some cream sauce I can’t remember.



Pea and Mint soup - this was excellent 10/10



Smoked Scottish Salmon Carpaccio with avocado and ricotta ponzu and truffle dressing - the Ponzu was a bit too salty 8/10



Lobster Thermidor with potato gratin, grilled asparagus and lemon cheek - Lobster was way over-cooked though flavour and seasoning was spot on, I give it a 5/10. The SQ version I had couple weeks earlier ex-SIN was way better.



Warm mince pie with crème Anglaise red currants and mixed berries - this was excellent as well 9/10



Before landing - Breaded prawn burger with toasted brioche bun pickled mooli and baby gem lettuce. This was surprisingly tasty! 9/10
