With the recent changes to BAEC, many cardholders may feel that the value of the BAPP card has diminished. The companion voucher still offers great value imo, but if much of your spend will no longer go through BA as well as losing status, building up significant pot of Avios will become harder. Other cards like the Plat might be better for booking travel.

To those that have already cancelled their cards, has anyone received any noteworthy retention offers from Amex?
