I have GE and would like to sign up for E-Gate. I travel there enough that it's worth it to bypass the immigration lines. I already searched the forum but found alot of bickering and unclear info. I am following the official Taiwan website on signing up, but I'm wondering about the airport portion of the process. I'd like to hear from any of you who have done this recently.

At TPE, can I interview as soon as I land, before baggage claim?

How long does this process take?

Assuming 2-3 flights deplane at the same time, will having an interview/pic/fingerprints for E-Gate signup be faster than standing in the normal immigration line?
